I'm sure I've already mentioned this: I use the 80s CD package by JTM for my current rig, but I'm considering a new one that has a few more of the bigger tube amps in it, such as the 100A,200A and the VMP, because I've had some complaints about the lower freqs needing to be boosted. I'm not sure what to do about this; I suspect the VMP is probably the culprit.

So, I think a Kemper sampler is a great product and next Gen sim too, but I don't see them competing with traditional component modelers. I see the Kemper being somewhere in the middle of the road, being an all-in-one product that combines Marshall's amp sim experience and Brainworx's amp sim experience and then what Igor and the brains at Kemper did with the kemper sampler is to make a great product that will stay a part of the Kemper family, just like the kemper guitar, kemper bass, kemper drum and the kemper monosynth all did to their respective families. Just like NI made a brand that sticks to its guns and does what it does, well, so does Kemper, and so does Brainworx, which is something I think Kemper has done very well.

Also, if I were you and you're looking at buying a Kemper, make sure you check out their forums where you'll see they have tons of details on the products and their history. Somebody already answered. The most common wisdom is that the first few days are the hardest. Then the word of mouth begins to spread and the first thing people do is to download the crack from site like this. And the more people start to use it the more viruses are generated...

I can understand. I would have the same problem. I have nothing against S Live, it's a great piece of software, but I need my PC to run it. I would have the same problem to use any software that need new OS to run on it.
