Music piracy is just fairly dead nowadays due to services like spotify which just blows it out of the water. The amount of benefits you get far outweighs the amount you have to pay. But say for example spotify isn't available in your region or you need some flac files, then there's a much more inconvenient method to get music other than just buying from the artist.
